Simple put, this is an amazing series. I never got caught up in the original Law and Order but Law and Order: Criminal Intent hits the bullseye for a variety of reasons. First, Goren is an amazing mix of a compassionate Sherlock Holmes and a stoic James Bond with a flare for all but breaking the rules to catch criminals but not being burdened with any significant vices. Goren doesn't smoke or drink to excess and has no romantic relationships outside of work that viewers are aware of from what I have seen. Eames is the cynical and skeptical partner who is often wary of Goren's methods. She is not in awe of his extensive knowledge of languages and criminal psychology but she is more than willing to follow his unrelenting bloodhound tendencies when he catches a scent. I'm having a ball watching this series develop and Dick Wolf is a genius. I highly recommend this series for anyone tired of the 'Walker, Texas Ranger' style of law enforcement and wanting to see something far more down to earth.

I have watched Monk from the begining, and I have loved Monk from the begining. And, although I am sad to see Monk go, it couldn't end any better. After the announcement that Season 8 would be the last season of Monk, the writers must've been hard at work. Because, I simply do not believe they could have ended this series better. Not only have they closed some doors, they opened some. But before you read anymore of this, I'll warn you. So here it is: SPOILER ALERT! We begin the season with Monk meeting his favorite actor from his favorite show.Then Monk makes a friend. A man who's wife also passed away right outside of Monk's apartment. After some more episodes, we see Sharona! Monk's longtime nurse/friend (season 1-3) comes back to see Monk and friends. More episodes pass by and then we come to 2 very important episodes. The first episode (8.13 Mr. Monk is the Best Man) is the episode in which Captain Stottlemeyer marries his girlfriend, Trudy (from episode 8.9 Happy Birthday, Mr. Monk) and Monk is the Best Man. In the next episode (8.14 Mr. Monk and the Badge) Monk becomes a detective on the police force again, but leaves shortly after because of the challenges and change that comes with being a police detective. And then comes the 2 part finale. While eating dinner with Natalie, Julie, and Natalie's new boyfriend Monk is poisoned. He tries to solve Trudy's murder as well as his own. Of course, he succecedes. He also opens up Trudy's gift, and finds out his dead wife was once pregnant before they even met each other. He then meets his dead wife's estranged daughter Molly. They are both very fond of each other. Afterwards, we find out Disher is leaving the SFPD to go to New Jersey and live with Sharona and become the new Police Chief there. After a short montage with a great "Monk Goodbye" song we see the ending Monk walking into a building with Stottlemeyer and Natalie. A great ending to a great show. I'm very sad to see it go, but am very excited to see the DO NOT POST HERE !!! come out.

I read many of the reviews for this DO NOT POST HERE !!! prior to purchasing it, and against my better judgment assumed most people were just exaggerating or not used to exercising. I was already familiar with Jennifer Galardi having done one of her ab workouts on exercise tv on demand. In spite of wondering where the ********* hip hop was in the clip I watched on the internet prior to purchasing, I pulled the trigger on making the purchase because the structor is really good.

My first impression upon doing this DO NOT POST HERE !!! was that it was easy, slow and not in any way shape or form Hip Hop. Seriously... using the words "hip hop" in the title is like false advertising! Those words have no business being associated with this Zumba Fitness DO NOT POST HERE !!! or its content at all. But I let it slide because after completing the DO NOT POST HERE !!! (and the step guide) I was sweating, my abs felt tighter and I did feel as though I had worked out.

The structor is really good. The step guide is a huge asset to the DO NOT POST HERE !!! . I did the step guide before taking the plunge (per other reviews' advice) and it helped tremendously. She is easy to follow, the steps are relatively easy to do and to manipulate, and on the off chance you get lost or miss a step it is easy to catch up.

That is kind of where I run out of positive things to say about this DO NOT POST HERE !!! . I've said it before but I will reiterate... if you are looking for a true hip hop DO NOT POST HERE !!! , this is NOT the one for you! The music is so lame and is in no way hip hop at all. It sounds like some dude in his basement decided to try playing with a lame drum machine while using Tetris as his inspiration. It doesn't go with the name of the DO NOT POST HERE !!! , nor does it go with structor's style or the moves she's teaching.

There are like two random old-school "hip hop" moves she throws into her routines, but that is it. I'm sorry, but the box step and kick-ball-change do not constitute hip hop dancing. And just because she says things like "bring tha noise" and "I wanna see you partaaaayyy" doesn't mean the routines are hip hop related.

I read a review prior to purchasing this Zumba Fitness DO NOT POST HERE !!! that said something like just because she's wearing cargo pants doesn't mean it is a hip hop Zumba Fitness DO NOT POST HERE !!! . I now know fully what that person meant. I tried to like this DO NOT POST HERE !!! and still do throw it into rotation. But I find that every time I do it now, all I can do is focus on the absurdity of the difference between what is in the title of the DO NOT POST HERE !!! versus what content is actually on it.

We have in recent years seen genre LOST that were huge hits with critics and managed to generate a passionate cult following. Probably no show was critically praised but at its peak it managed only a small audience. LOST has generated critical praise almost as strong as BUFFY, a core of fans nearly as passionate, but unlike BUFFY managed absolutely stunning ratings. It is one of the few instances in recent television history where what is arguably the bestLOST on TV also managed among the strongest ratings. In fact, LOST would be considered a cult show based on the number of websites that it has inspired and the passion of the fans, except that the ratings instead make it a mainstream hit.

Who would have thought that a series dealing with plane crash survivors on a most unusual island would have been this successful? Before it debuted I remember people joking that it sounded like GILLIGAN'S ISLAND without the humor. But it ended up matching or surpassing the most optimistic expecations, in quality as well as in ratings. The mention of ratings is not gratuitious. So many superb LOST have been cancelled in recent years (FIREFLY, WONDERFALLS, DEAD LIKE ME, ANGEL) that there was even a "Save LOST" website started . . . before the show even debuted! Luckily, the ratings have made cancellation seem not only remote but impossible.

It is almost impossible to acknowledge everything that LOST does well in the space allotted here. Above all else, it is a superbly written show, not merely on an episode by episode basis, but in the way all of the episodes mesh with one another. The continuity is the best that I have seen in a long time. For instance, the first time we see one character in theLOST, she is rubbing her wrist. Later, we learn that she had been a prisoner of a U. S. Marshall and had obviously gotten rid of her handcuffs just before we first met her. Almost any detail like that will be dealt with at a later date. But the scripts are just as strong on character development, humor, excitement, and adventure. I do have a tiny bit of fear about LOST Two: former BUFFY and ANGEL writer David Fury, who wrote many of the finest scripts of the year, including "Walkabout," which could very well win Fury an Emmy for best written episode of the year, has left LOST to work this summer on the new FOX series THE INSIDE, before joining 24 as a writer and executive producer.

LOST clearly has the potential to be one of the great series in the history of television. The producers are highly ambitious, but so far their execution has matched their aspirations. I have only one concern with the show, and that is the executive producer and creator J. J. Abrams. Although he has two prior hit shows, FELICITY and ALIAS, he has had some problems with taking his LOST shows to higher levels. What made BUFFY so extraordinary was that each year they managed to do something new and amazing, even if some fans were disappointed by some directions it headed. But ALIAS has started to disappoint some fans by the fact that it hasn't progressed much beyond what it was in the first season. Instead of doing strikingly new things, Abrams just tends to recycle the same general storyline. And there has not been much of a payoff for all the focus on Ramaldi (for nonfans of ALIAS, a Renaissance genius whose artifacts provide much of the narrative force of the show). Abrams clearly is brilliant at conceiving and initiating great shows, but he has not yet demonstrated that he is a great finisher in the way that Joss Whedon has. I believe that Abrams either will come to terms with this or the other creators and executive producers will help LOST get to a place that we will all find satisfying.

The third season of the L Word picks right up with all the excitement, romance, and pornual tension of the previous seasons. Alice is struggling to get over the loss of her best friend and her lover while Dana moves on with Lara. One of the biggest turns of the season comes when Dana is diagnosed with breast cancer and the women struggle to help her cope and to deal with it themselves. Tina and Bette's daughter, Angelica, is six months old and the two have done their best to reconcile and form a stable home for her. Bette is in the process of trying to adopt Angelica, so the couple has routine visits with a social worker. Shane and Carmen are in a committed relationship and living together in Jenny's house. Carmen's job as a dj is starting to pick up and she's even offered a position djing for Russell Simmons at some point. Shane opens a hair studio in the middle of a skateboard shop and, in typical Shane fashion, struggles to stay loyal to her (gorgeous) girlfriend. Jenny is off on a road trip somewhere with a girl named Moira who has a gender identity crisis. At some point during the season Moira becomes Max and decides to transition to a male. Meanwhile Jenny struggles to sell her book. Kit finally gets a storyline besides being the alcoholic has been sister and even finds a love interest. And finally, in one of the best additions, Helena Peabody is finally a full member of the cast and has her own story lines not involving Bette and Tina.

This season of the L Word is emotionally charged and takes some chances that they haven't in previous years. With the addition of Moira, the show brings the first transgendered recurring role to network television. Though Jenny's story line typically bores me to tears and, I'll admit, I usually fast forward through a large portion of her scenes, this show actually made me interested to see what would go on. Jenny finally found someone who was her match. The heartbreak that exists with Alice when she sees Dana and Lara constantly is palpable, and completely relatable. I don't think anyone who has ever had their heart broken can look at what she went through without understanding how well done and realistic the emotion was. When we lose Dana later in the season , it only intensifies and finally gives Alice a chance to shine as someone besides the confused bipornual girl. On the same token, it's nice not to see Kit sitting around just being everyone else's go to girl and instead having her own story. The addition of Angus, Angelica's manny, as Kit's boyfriend finally brings a little meat to the Pam Grier character.
The third season of the the L Word is quite possibly the best one yet. A lot of the original characters have story lines that give them a chance to show their artistic range, and the new characters are welcome additions whose stories all add to the plot . I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the fourth season.

Although the past few seasons Scrubs had descended slightly from the levels it had achieved in its first few brilliant seasons, its final season managed to recover afair amount of its previous charm. Buoyed by several new interns there was some fresh blood in the cast and there were a lot of nice storylines to keep the interest up. There was an expected resolution of JD and Elliott's story. And we even sorta, kinda learned (maybe) the Janitor's name (Tony).

There is some talk that there might be either a Season Nine of Scrubs , with significant cast changes. But I hope that doesn't take place. Better to have a show go away with some gas in the tank than have it continue on fumes.

Scrubs 8 saw a lot of major changes. With Bob Kelso gone and no longer head of surgery, Perry Cox becomes the new head of Sacred Heart. Ted actually finds a girlfriend (a ukulele abusing one to boot). Turk becomes chief of surgery while he and Carla expect their second child. And Janitor finds a woman of his own (known as "Lady") and gets married. But the biggest changes involve JD and Elliott. They get back together and unlike in the past, JD doesn't panic at all, but instead delights in being with her, even embracing all her eccentricities. And the final big change involves JD leaving Sacred Heart so that he can live closer to his son (with Elliott sneakily moving in with him by slowly sneaking her stuff into his place). The series began with JD preparing for his first day at Sacred Heart and the series ends with him leaving. And in a cameo that puts one in mind of J. Michael Straczynski's showing up at the end of BABYLON 5 and Ron Moore popping up at the very end of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, Scrubs’ creator Bill Lawrence shows up in the final scene.

I'm going to miss this show . At its best it was one of the most refreshing, inventive comedies on TV. Even at its worst it was at least enjoyable. I'll miss all the characters and I'll even miss Sacred Heart itself. They actually bought a closing hospital in which to film the show and house the production company offices. The result was a feeling of concreteness and reality that none of the dramatic hospital series on TV could fully match, wedded as they were to sets rather than locations. The Sacred Heart grounds were something that they had complete access to, rather than something that they just visited. The cars on the lot were probably those of the actors and production crew. The whole show just seemed at home.

The good news is that we got eight whole seasons . This translates in to lots of DO NOT POST HERE !!! s that we can watch and rewatch. The show has ended but it won't really be going away.
Well, looks like Scrubs is going to be back in Season Nine. Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke will be back for six episodes to provide a transition to new doctors (the interns of Season Eight?) to take center stage on the show . Donald Faison (Turk--though, do we really want Turk without JD?--having Turk go on without JD would seem to belie the joined-at-the-hip mythology of the past 8 years), John C. McGinley (Cox), and Neil Flynn (Janitor) will be back if their new pilots aren't picked up, and I assume the rest of the cast will be back. But I'm not terribly excited at this point about Scrubs without JD, Elliott, and Turk-on-his-own-without-JD. But I'll give it a try. Also, it undercuts what was a near perfect finale episode.
